THE Princess Royal straps into the pilot's seat as claps of thunder are heard overhead, luckily it is only a simulated flight in Singapore.

Anne toured the Airbus Asia Training Centre and Rolls-Royce Seletar campus yesterday, on the second day of her visit to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Singapore.

Sitting at the controls of an Airbus A350 flight simulator, the Princess buckled her seatbelt and laughed during her safety briefing with the captain.
