Philip Green loses battle over being named in Lords

FORMER Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green has failed in a claim that his human rights were breached when he was named in the Lords over an injunction.

He had obtained a court order preventing a newspaper publishing allegations of misconduct made against him by five ex-employees.

The workers had agreed to keep the details of their complaints confidential under non-disclosure agreements.

But he was named in the Lords as the businessman behind the injunction by Labour peer Lord Hain, who used parliamentary privilege to air the allegations.
