Jambos up for a fight after humbling Hoops

- BY CRAIG SWAN

DEREK MCINNES has vowed high-flying Hearts will keep fighting to improve in the face of Celtic's huge advantages.

The Jambos smashed eight points clear in the Premiership title race after sinking the stuttering champions 3-1 at Tynecastle yesterday.

McInnes' side celebrated a famous victory and the fans are now believe in a genuine bid for the crown.

But the manager has made it clear it remains early days in the battle and there's no one inside the Hearts camp indulging in any dreaming.

Instead, Mcinnes is eager to see more improvements and is adamant there will be January additions to counter the power of the Bhoys.

He is playing down title talk and said: "I'm keeping a lid on it. There's still improvement in us, to be honest.

"We've got good strength in the squad. My bench is strong. The boys in the stand not involved today who are training at a good level... We've got one or two things lined up for January.
