IT looks painful...but this dramatic shot of an equestrian tumble landed on its feet at the Sony World Photography Awards.
The photo of a Moroccan celebration won Olivier Unia the title of Open Photographer of the Year. The shortlisted entries go on show at London’s Somerset House from today to May 5.
The pro competition, in its 18th year, looks for technical mastery with storytelling across 10 categories - including portraiture, wildlife and nature, plus architecture and design.
French Olivier was on the spot to grab this striking image of horse and rider that he called Tbourida La Chute (The Fall).
