THE Great British Bake Off is back on our TV screens this month and its tented kitchen may have had more influence on us than previously thought. Not just because we're baking more cakes now but because we've taken quite a fancy to its pastel-coloured kitchens.
The powder pink, pale green and marine blue kitchen units are just as much stars of the Channel 4 show as its plucky contestants, so could this be why DIY retailer Wickes has launched its first-ever pink kitchen?
