No full Monty as Livi eye Finnish

DAVIE MARTINDALE says a new left-back is within reach after revealing Adam Montgomery's time at Livingston is over.

Montgomery hurt his calf at Easter Road three months ago and has re-injured himself on the way back, which looks like ending his campaign.

The 23-year-old was on a season-long loan from Celtic, leaving Martindale to hail “a lot of class" the champions have shown in allowing their agreement to be ripped up.

And he's wasting no time in recruiting a reinforcement, with a left-back yesterday going before a panel for a governing body endorsement while Livi worked on getting a transfer agreement.
