NATIONAL TREASURE IS NEXT ON LEWIS LIST
Scottish Daily Express

LEWIS FERGUSON would love to cap off a dream season by shining for Scotland in their summer friendlies.
The midfielder joins up with Steve Clarke’s squad fresh from lifting the Coppa Italia with Bologna, who beat the mighty AC Milan 1-0 in the final.
The national team take on Iceland at Hampden on Friday before travelling to face Liechtenstein on Monday as they bring the curtain down on season 2024/25.
Clarke will be using the two friendlies to fine-tune his tactics and personnel ahead of World Cup qualifying, which kicks off away to Denmark in September.
And Ferguson is determined to establish himself as a regular after winning most of his 14 caps to date off the bench.
The 25-year-old said: “I want to play for Scotland. It is an honour every time I’m selected and I want to win as many caps as I can and do as well as I can for my country. It is massive for me.
“I want to finish the season strongly. Hopefully I can get involved in these last two games with Scotland and we get a good couple of performances and results ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.”
Clarke has led the Scots to qualification for back-to-back European Championship finals but the World Cup remains the Holy Grail.
