PSYCHOTHERAPIST AND BROADCASTER
I wonder what 2026 has in store for Kemi Badenoch? At the beginning of 2025, within her first 100 days, some MPs were muttering darkly about "time limits" and plotting her downfall.
Fast forward nearly 12 months, and the woman whose fiery red dress for the final PMQs before Christmas set the tone for her feisty seasonal quips, looks far more confident.
I was at a political drinks party recently and even those who voted for her leadership rival Robert Jenrick have now been seduced by Kemi's intriguing mixture of brains, ideas and, well, sass!
Who else but Kemi could combine a recent visit to Brands Hatch to announce a policy to scrap grants for electric vehicles with a fashion show runway strut in red high heels?
And lest you think focusing on her fashion sense is frivolous, I believe what we wear and how we wear it is an important part of our psychology.
Wearing nice clothes is a way to honour ourselves, and fashion can boost our mood or allow us to playfully reinvent ourselves each day. So as well as Clever Kemi here's to more Catwalk Kemi in 2026.
That's a perfect resolution for the Tories.

IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR
A little goes a very long way in the third chapter of director James Cameron's blockbusting franchise. Avatar: Fire And Ash is a masterclass in candyfloss storytelling, expertly fluffing around an hour of linear plot and character development into more than three hours of jaw-dropping visual spectacle that continues to push the envelope for performance capture technology.
