Man 'used mallet to murder counsellor'

A MAN has appeared in court accused of using a mallet during the alleged murder of a drugs counsellor.

William Sharp is said to have attacked James Jarvis at a flat in north Glasgow last week.

The 55-year-old deceased was discovered at the property last Wednesday.

Sharp appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court late on Monday.

But further details on the accusations against the 38-year-old have since emerged.
