THEY don’t make TV dramas like they used to.

And please don’t hate me for saying this but thank heavens. Some dramas from decades ago may be remembered with affection, but sitting through one of them now would be a challenge, particularly if it was made in the Sixties or Seventies.
Seen through our modern eyes (what, you don’t have a pair of modern eyes? I got mine from Specsavers), it would feel painfully slow and clunky.
