KYLE CONNELL was the two-goal hero as Clyde extended their unbeaten league streak to 13 games -and the attacker hopes he's hitting a purple patch.

Connell's double, coupled with goals from Kyle Fleming and Marley Redfern, saw the Bully Wee beat Edinburgh City 4-1 as Greig Allen found the net for the home side.
It marked Connell's third goal in two games and he said: “You hope you are hitting your purple patch just now because what a time in the season to do it.
