Prue Leith reveals why she wants to carry on as a Bake Off judge

DAME Prue Leith hopes to create aslice of TV history herself as the Great British Bake off celebrates its 150th episode during the new series.

Prue, 85, and fellow judge Paul Hollywood, 59, are in charge once again as they decide which cake makers rise to the top. They are joined by co-hosts Noel Fielding, 52, and Alison Hammond, 50.

Dame Prue has now set her sights on still being on the show in her 90s.

The restaurateur, broadcaster, cookery writer and novelist said: “Why not? I mean, I’m asked this question all the time and I always say the same thing, ‘I’ve got to give up some time but I’m loving it’. I just enjoy it. [look forward to it.
