Coronation Street's Charlotte Jordan predicts plenty of drama ahead of her character Daisy Midgeley’s exit

Charlotte Jordan wept for hours during her final day on the Coronation Street set, as she filmed her exit scenes as fiery barmaid Daisy Midgeley.

But then, when she was meant to cry filming her last scene with Rob Mallard, who plays Daisy’s love interest Daniel Osbourne, she couldn't summon up a single tear.

After nearly five years as Daisy, currently at the centre of a catfishing plot targeting her stepmother Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews), the time has come for Charlotte to bid farewell to her soap alter ego.
