Team wants fans to see what triggers memories of Beatles

IF Penny Lane is in your ears and in your eyes, then scientists want to hear from you — as they use The Beatles as a template to study how sound, sight, touch and smell can all trigger memories.

Volunteers are being sought for a memory experiment taking place next month.

Researchers are particularly keen to hear from those who saw the Fab Four play live in the Midlands.

The team, from the University of Wolverhampton, said the aim was to “deepen understanding of memory from the swinging 60s to the digital age”.
