Fun-loving Harry and mates have got act together
Scottish Daily Express
|June 09, 2025
HARRY BROOK and his "funloving mates" went out to celebrate a confidence-lifting fifth white-ball win in a row and a second successive series triumph yesterday.
And the Yorkshireman - who took over the helm when Jos Buttler was forced to step down following England's fall from ODI and T20 grace - must feel the captaincy lark is a breeze.
Brook starred with 34, and ex-skipper Buttler made another crucial 47, as England ran out four-wicket victors over the West Indies in Bristol.
They chased down their 197 target with nine balls left and plenty of fury and fireworks.
It gave them a 2-0 lead with just the one contest remaining in Southampton tomorrow, and added the T20 series to the 3-0 win in the ODIs recently.
