|June 03, 2025
FRIENDS and family of a Scot who has gone missing on a stag do in Portugal are growing increasingly worried.
Albufeira Strip. Ms Monks, who has had to remain in Glasgow with her two young children, has set up a social media page to raise awareness of the search for Mr Monks, who is the groom at the wedding of his friend.
In one message posted she thanked British holidaymakers, expats and locals for their support, writing: "This is so unlike Greg. I am now seeking help from residents of the Cerro de Águia area to check any home cameras or doorbell footage between around 2am and 5am on Wednesday as police believe he was in the area at this time. Please share this if you know anyone in the area. Thank you."
