Deepfake porn soars as 25% say forgery of sex photos is OK

A QUARTER of Britons think there is nothing wrong with sharing deepfake porn photos — as the number of such indecent images rocketed by 1,780% in the past five years.

Almost one in six of the 1,700 respondents admitted creating a forged sex image or would do so in the future. And a third of those aged 25-34 said they had already done it.
