Darge: I would love to be a Lion

SCOTLAND skipper Rory Darge admits he would jump at the chance if he got a late call-up from the British & Irish Lions.

But last night the Glasgow forward insisted he would still be fully focused on leading the national team as they play the Maori All Blacks, Fiji and Samoa on their Pacific Tour.

The Lions are just a short hop away in Australia from Scotland's base in New Zealand. And after being unlucky to miss out on selection in the first place, openside flanker Darge is on standby to join the select side if there are injuries in his position.
