AN ice sculpture of terraced homes has been unveiled, shining a spotlight on the millions living in fuel poverty.

- BY OLIVER LEWIS

AN ice sculpture of terraced homes has been unveiled, shining a spotlight on the millions living in fuel poverty.

It symbolises households left “frozen” by soaring energy costs, many of whom will feel the chill this winter after the price cap rise.

Measuring 3m x 1.5m, the sculpture was displayed in South London's Borough Yards to capture the attention of passersby.

It is part of a campaign by Skipton Building Society, Age UK and National Energy Action to highlight the growing crisis facing families.
