CAPTAIN marvel Louis Reed revealed his teammates turned up the heat on him seconds before his dream winner sent Mansfield to a shock FA Cup win at Burnley.
Reed's magnificentlystruck 25-yard free-kick 10 minutes from time capped a come-from-behind win for the League One side at the Premier League Clarets.
It also sent the Stags into the FA Cup fifth round for the first time since 1975.
Reed knew he could deliver after plotting a goal like that all week but fellow Stags Regan Hendry and Stephen McLaughlin challenged him to prove it.
"I kind of knew, as soon as it got over the wall, it was going to take an incredible save to stop it," said skipper Reed. "It was the perfect distance for me.
"I had been working on them since the start of the week in training.
