Brit in pole position to reach all world's most inaccessible places
Scottish Daily Express
|October 01, 2025
A BRITISH explorer has become the first person to reach seven of the planet's most inaccessible places.
And now Chris Brown is on a mission to reach the final one so he can make history by bagging all eight Poles of Inaccessibility.
A Pole of Inaccessibility, or PIA, is the exact spot on a continental land mass or ocean that is furthest from the sea or coast in any direction.
Chris, 63, had already ticked off six of them in North America, South America, Africa, Australia the Antarctic and the oceanic pole at Point Nemo in the Pacific.
