THE life of a notorious Scots crime queen is to be featured on a new BBC Scotland podcast.
The Ballad of Big Mags will explore the life of clan figurehead Mags Haney, who rose to prominence in the late 1990s to grab headlines as a self-styled anti-paedophile campaigner.
Haney, of the Raploch estate in Stirling, revelled in the attention - but the high-profile coverage would lead to her downfall.
The chain-smoker ruled over an empire peddling heroin and pocketing huge sums of cash while members of her family did her bidding.
