Dackers says improving his aerial game is no tall order
KILMARNOCK striker Marcus Dackers has vowed to get better in the air ... despite standing 6ft 7in tall.
The Welsh hitman netted a superb second Killie goal as they eased to a comfortable win over a timid Saints side.
But what may be surprising for a 22-year-old player who came through the ranks at Manchester City and Brighton, and can already count Kilmarnock as his 12th club including loan spells, is he reckons he's never been taught how to head a ball.
Until he signed for Killie, Dackers capped a fine performance by nodding in a superb cross from James Brown after David Watson had earlier given the hosts the lead.
The former Salford Town player is adept on the ground and caused Saints defenders plenty of problems all day in testing conditions.
But he's the first to admit he needs to work on his aerial prowess.
And that's where boss Stuart Kettlewell and his assistant manager Stephen Frail came in.
