Drinks in Ibiza put Alcaraz in mood

CARLOS ALCARAZ says downing shots with Tottenham star Sergio Reguilon in Ibiza last week will help him retain his Wimbledon title.

But the French Open champion admitted his annual summer trip to the party island was “more chill” than last year after he was slammed by his own team in his Netflix documentary.

The Spanish superstar won his fifth Grand Slam title by beating Jannik Sinner in a gruelling five-set classic in Paris last weekend after saving three match points.

Alcaraz then delayed the start to his grass-court training to “disconnect from everything” in Ibiza before playing the HSBC Championships at Queen’s Club this week.
