SA artists set to dazzle at Russia InterVision Music Contest

THE stage is set as a variety of South African artists will participate in the Russia InterVision Music Contest in Moscow today.
Representing South Africa will be Maansi Jikelele, a dynamic collective of talented local artists, who will deliver an inspirational performance of their original composition titled “Home”.
Participants in the music contest will be drawn from 23 countries, highlighting the multicultural tapestry of creativity and musical expression.
Audiences can catch the live performance on the SABC streaming platform, SABC+, at 7.30pm, followed by a delayed broadcast on SABC 3 at 9.30pm.
Mzansi Jikelele is a powerful ensemble, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of South Africa. The group is composed of:
■ Tshepo Nkadimeng: A blind singer and actor whose voice is a beacon of hope and resilience.
■ Nhlanhla Dube: A soulful Afropop vocalist known for his deeply emotive sound.
