Defence stocks nosedive as Paras backers sell stakes

Defence-related stocks steeply on Tuesday, as investors resorted to profit booking after a recent record run. The slide brought down Nifty Defence India index over 1.9 per cent to 8,047.65, reports said.
They said Paras Defence shares also fell around 5 per cent after its promoters offloaded around 3.3 per cent stake in the company. The stock had rallied nearly 55 per cent in the past one month.
