Mistaken on job coaches

THE plans of Liz Kendall, the DWP minister, to employ an extra 1,000 work coaches to weed out the fraudsters are either short-sighted or downright lies in relation to raising extra funds. A whopping £5billion.

What she and Rachel Reeves are aiming at is stopping or reducing as many people's benefit payments as possible. The only way to raise the monies the chancellor is quoting, is by stopping much needed payments to the less fortunate in society.

An extra 1,000 work coaches will not work for nothing, they come at a price. I thought the government were cutting down on the number of employees within the Civil Service?

The only way around this is to outsource this witch hunt to private agencies, whose only incentive is profit for the CEOs and shareholders of such companies. Another way is to utilise the growing trend in AI technology. Your work coach may not even be a person, just an algorithm programmed to make your interrogation as complex as possible with a bias built in to stop or cut your existing benefits.
