Funding's boost for projects in community

A NUMBER of key community projects have been completed in Langley as part of Rochdale Borough Council's £3.5 million Ward Capital Fund cash injection.

West Middleton councillors Sue Smith, Phil Burke, and Neil Emmott
Councillors representing West Middleton utilised the £175,000 allocated for each of the 20 wards in the borough to invest in new traffic calming schemes, road improvements, resident parking areas and improved footways.
The investment includes refurbished speed humps on Knight Crescent, new resident parking areas on Windermere Road, and parking areas and footpath refurbishment around Rowrah Crescent.
