Dale strengthen on and off field
Rochdale Observer
|July 12, 2025
ROCHDALE'S impressive summer recruitment continued this week with the signing of midfielder Casey Pettit.
-
The 22-year-old joined on a two-year deal from Maidenhead United.
Pettit, who has featured in over 90 games for the Magpies during the last two years, said: "I'm delighted to be here, buzzing to get it over the line and looking forward to the next step.
"So happy to be able to get straight in and out on the pitch with the lads to learn all the details. I'll give 100 per cent every week, I leave everything out there for the fans and the club.
"I'm looking forward to getting on the ball, being creative and this different playing style will hopefully suit me."
Pettit began his career in West Ham United's youth ranks before a spell at Millwall. He then joined Luton Town at the age of 16, going on to captain the Under-18 and Under-21 sides.
In January 2022, the midfielder joined Isthmian League Premier Division Lewes FC on a one-month loan before an appearance on the bench for the Hatters' First Team in the Championship.
