Operation Diplomacy
Punjab Times (English Edition)
|May 30, 2025
After the stupendous success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, India launched a diplomatic onslaught on Pakistan. It sent seven multiparty delegations to 33 countries with a view to exposing the real face of Pakistan. These delegations were assigned a big task to strip the mask off Pakistan's face. It is an open secret that Pakistan has been using terrorism as an instrument of state policy to inflict pain on India. It fought 3 wars with India on the issue of Kashmir but bit the dust every time. Finally, it realised that it could not snatch Kashmir from India by flexing its military muscles. Besides, it could not hold a candle to India in conventional warfare. India outperformed Pakistan both in military strength and technology. Thus, to counter India, it changed its track. It invested hugely in proxies to bleed India. For the last more than three decades, Pakistan has been aiding and abetting terrorism in India. The list of Pak-sponsored terror attacks in India is interminable. India's efforts to dissuade Pakistan from fomenting trouble through its proxies have yielded no result as yet. India sent dossiers to Pakistan to point the role of its establishment in directing terror attacks on Indian soil. Unfortunately, Pakistan dumped Indian dossiers to the bin and termed them as 'pieces of literature’. Instead of taking action against terrorists and their mentors, it falsely accused India of staging false flag operations.

India needs to purse diplomatic outreach against Pakistan to internationalise the issue of terrorism and also to convince the world community that Pakistan is a big exporter of terrorism. Diplomacy is a strong weapon. It is more powerful than nuclear weapons. It decimates the enemy without firing a single salvo. India should, therefore, push hard to get Pakistan included in the grey list of FATF. It is an open secret that Pakistan diverts funds
