The Quiet Path of Truth
People talk about happiness and prosperity every day. These words usually appear in speeches, conversations, advice, prayers, and wishes.
But when | look around, | notice that very few people actually feel happy in a steady way. Even fewer feel peaceful. This makes me wonder: are we all chasing the same thing, or are we simply repeating words that sound good?
From my own observation, happiness is often imagined as something dramatic. People expect it to arrive with celebration, recognition, or applause. Prosperity, too, is expected to show itself loudly through money, property, success stories, or public approval. But life rarely works in such neat ways.
Most meaningful things arrive quietly, without announcement.
I have witnessed those who have attained what is deemed as success by society, but they are seen tense and unsettled. Their days are hectic; their calendars go round the clock, yet it does not seem that their minds have ever rested. They are ever strategizing about what is next, what the next target is, what the next achievement will be. When one goal is reached, another appears immediately. There is no pause. No space to feel contentment,
