SUHAIL Jadwat, who recently graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) at UKZN, is already establishing himself as one of the country’s most promising legal minds.

This is not only for his courtroom abilities but also for his unwavering commitment to justice, social change, and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable.

Based in Durban and currently completing his legal articles at Legal Aid South Africa, Jadwat works primarily in criminal law, serving communities in Umlazi and Umbumbulu.

“What inspires me is a deeply rooted passion for justice — particularly when it comes to standing up for those who are most vulnerable and often overlooked. Growing up, and through my early legal experiences, I saw first-hand how poverty and inequality affected access to justice, and that left a permanent mark on me,” said Jadwat.
