‘A good fit’ – Brook strengthens Moneys’ ex-Pompey connections

At the age of 17 years and nine months, Harrison Brook made his Blues debut against West Ham Under-21s in the EFL in November 2020.

That would prove to be the attacker's first and last Pompey outing, although he was an unused substitute in fixtures at Cheltenham and Peterborough during the cup run that season.

However, at the season’s end, all the club’s second-year and third-year scholars departed, including Harry Kavanagh, Charlie Bell, Harvey Rew and Eoin Teggart.

In Brook's case, though, his departure was entirely on his own terms, having rejected the offer of a third-year scholarship along with Seok Jae Lee.

Instead he trialled at Southampton, playing one match for their under-23s, before he was snapped up by Bognor in the summer of 2021.
