Toe Anuska Deyzel (14) vroeg een oggend in Julie opstaan, het wat 'n doodgewone oggend sou wees vir haar in 'n droomdag ontaard.
Sy, haar ma, Natanya, en ouboet Xander, het beplan om die dag by uShaka Marine World deur te bring.
Anuska is lief vir diere en die kans om deur dié onderwater-wêreld te stap was vir haar 'n blye vooruitsig.
Anuska is sowat 'n jaar gelede met 'n hoëgraadse glioom gediagnoseer - 'n gewas so groot soos 'n tennisbal op haar breinstam. Die grootste deel is chirurgies verwyder, maar 'n klein gedeelte kon nie sonder groot risiko verwyder word nie.
