|May 13, 2025
After being unemployed and selling clothes and bric-a-brac at fleamarkets in Timour Hall in Capricorn, Grisilda Majiet is now the proud owner of her own thrift shop in Main Road in Retreat.
"When I was unemployed it was always my dream to open my own shop and in mid-November 2024 my dream became a reality when I received financial assistance to open my store, GC Enterprises. My husband James and I received assistance from our church, which is Grace Family Church in Plumstead," she says.
