We must prioritise people of Scotland

Last week our First Minister, John Swinney, made a statement from Bute House and announced that the Scottish Government's programme for government will be brought forward and delivered on May 6.

This is in order to more readily focus on the priorities of the Scottish people and do everything it can to fix the challenges Scotland faces in these increasingly changing and often difficult times.

I think it would only be stating the obvious to say that recent events across the globe have created turbulent economic headwinds. But our Fisrt Minister and SNP Scottish Government are more determined than ever to make sure Scotland's interests are not forgotten or ignored in the midst of it all.
