This week, Paisley & District Darts League players took part in the qualifying rounds of this season's P&D Doubles competition.

Venue one was at Pockets, run by George Millar. Nine teams participated and, after the first-round games, there were teams left representing Tartan Rose, Clippens Inn, and Keystone.

The winning team came from Tartan Thunder and Midton Bowling Club. Kenny McCormack partnered Millar and won through with a 4-1 final score over Clippens Inn.

Venue two was at Tartan Rose with June McCallum taking charge of proceedings for the night. At the last-four stage, there were teams from Pockets, Hagg Bar and Clachan Arrows still involved with the Pockets pairing of John McCallum and Brian Maley winning their board final 4-1 to set up a clash with McCormack and Millar.

Clippens Inn was the next venue to supply a winning team with Tam Norton of Tartan Thunder running the draw.
