Thug behind bars for brutal attack on teen

Judge Bruce Erroch KC told the 19-year-old: "Mr Harvey Hogg, the jury has convicted you of the assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, permanent impairment and to the danger of life.

"The conviction is under provocation.

"I intend to call for a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.

"Mr Mitchell has made a motion for bail, however, you've been convicted of a serious crime, an extremely serious crime.

"You'll be remanded in custody."
