Saints not banking on qualification as boss sticks to transfer blueprint

St Mirren's spending power for next season will not be impacted by the club's ability to reach European football, Stephen Robinson has said.
The Saints boss revealed he has already been given a provisional transfer kitty, stating that a place on the European stage will not boost it significantly.
Currently, Saints sit five points off fifth-placed Dundee United, with a crucial match set to take place in the City of Discovery on Saturday.
Robinson knows that a win for his men will see them close the gap to two points with two games remaining, which could put the Buddies in contention for a place in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
The Tangerines' final two matches are away to Rangers before hosting Aberdeen.
Saints, who arguably have the harder games, will face Hibs at the SMiSA Stadium before travelling to the East End of Glasgow to play SPFL champions Celtic.
