Delays to postal services were first reported in Renfrewshire before Christmas

It delivered the length and breadth of the United Kingdom irrespective of destination for the price of a stamp and you could be almost entirely certain to receive your mail daily and sometimes with even a second post delivered.

Unfortunately, it appears something isn’t working the way that it should anymore.

I have received communications from residents in different parts of the constituency expressing concern that mail they were expecting has gone astray.

Some minor items of post have been written off if you'll pardon the pun. Others, like hospital appointments, have arrived after the date of the appointment if they arrive at all.
