Gogic opens up on pride of wearing skipper's armband for Saints
Alex Gogic says skippering St Mirren has been a career highlight.
The Buddies enforcer donned the armband for the Premiership games against Dundee and Kilmarnock after captain Mark O'Hara and his deputy Marcus Fraser were sidelined through injury.
Gogic led the team out for the 1-0 win at home to the Dark Blues and 2-0 defeat to Killie at Rugby Park.
And while he acknowledged there was no difference to how he played his game and conducted himself, Gogic admitted they were special Saints moments for him.
The 31-year-old said: “That was a proud moment for me. Obviously, I didn’t want it to happen the way it happened with both of them injured.
