Robinson hails Keanu's return and tips Aussie to hit ground running at Saints
Stephen Robinson yesterday insisted Keanu Baccus can hit the ground running after he made a sensational return to St Mirren.
The Australian international has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, with the option for a further 12 months, after leaving Sky Bet League One side Mansfield Town.
The 27-year-old starred at the SMISA Stadium between 2022 and 2024 and helped the club into Europe for the first time in 37 years.
Now, after a romantic return to the club where he received his first call-up to the Socceroos squad, Robbo insists that a particular club can just be the right fit for a player.
"I believe getting Keanu back can be a great bit of business," the Buddies boss said. "Sometimes things just work at a certain club and this a home from home for Keanu.
"The fans and staff are buzzing with him, as are all the players who know him and have played with him.
