Female-focused studio plans get green light

Plans to transform a unit in Paisley into a female-focused personal training studio have been given the green light by Renfrewshire Council.

Abid for planning permission, submitted by MJK Architectural Studios on behalf of the applicant, for the venture at the CoVault facility in McFarlane Street has been granted, subject to conditions.

Bloom Fitness Studio intends to create a members' space where women can train together in a "safe and private" environment.

A supporting statement submitted with the application explained: "The unit would be used as a female-focused personal training studio which would be confined to bookings only and not open to the general public for use as a regular commercial gym.
