Braehead group 'GRID' rebrand to create over 200 jobs

The new entertainment offering at XSite Braehead will see up to 200 new jobs created in Renfrewshire, it has been confirmed.
New jobs There will be a refurbishment and rebranding programme at XSite
Owner XPE Group-who have planned a £12.6 million refurbishment and rebranding programme-has set out the economic benefits of its plans for 2026.
The Express reported last week how its rebranded site, dubbed GRID, will now have a Gymnastics Academy and Heavenly Desserts, all day coffee and much-needed electric vehicle charging facilities in the car park.
The entire development will be anchored by K1 Speed, bringing to Renfrewshire a unique world class indoore-karting attraction, boasting the world's longest indoor racetrack, set to open in summer next year.
Pete Cooper, director of XPE Group, said: "We are creating over 200 new local jobs through our investment and Renfrewshire Council's support for our plans has been exemplary.
