BJD FORMS PANELS AHEAD OF NUAPADA BYELECTION

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Wednesday formed steering, zonal and local action committees ahead of the Nuapada byelection.

In a notification, the regional party said, “In view of the ensuing Nuapada byelection, the steering committee, zonal committee and local action committee are hereby constituted. The members of the committees have been approved by BJD president Naveen Patnaik.”

The steering committee has Prasanna Acharya, Niranjan Pujari, Snehangini Chhuria, Tukuni Sahoo, Niranjan Bisi and Md. Ayub Khan as members, while Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, Sarada Nayak, Sudam Marndi, Debasish Acharya and six other leaders are part of the zonal committee
