Subhadra Yojana cited as model for Aadhaar-enabled welfare delivery at state-level workshop

"Through coordinated departmental efforts, the Aadhaar ecosystem can turn potential into real-world impact, improving lives and livelihoods across Odisha," said Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, delivering the keynote address at a state-level workshop Tuesday.

He highlighted Aadhaar’s transformational role in welfare delivery, citing the Subhadra Yojana as a model that leveraged Aadhaar for rapid and efficient outreach.

The workshop, titled “Deriving Maximum Impact out of Aadhaar,” was held at the Agriculture department Conference Hall and jointly organised by the UIDAI Regional Office, Hyderabad, and the Electronics & IT department.

“Aadhaar has emerged over the past decade as a trusted digital identity, streamlining governance and public service delivery nationwide,” the Chief Secretary said.
