CITY'S BEST BUSINESSES ARE RECOGNISED AT THE LAUNCH OF NEW AWARDS

- By LYNETTE PINCHESS

You're all winners, Duckies

FROM humble beginnings in a street food van, the Working Man’s Kitchen has been crowned Nottingham’s best new business.

Dad-of-two Paddy Sneath, the man behind the pizza dogs and pizzas, opened his first bricks-and-mortar site in October last year.

The business has come on leaps and bounds after starting with a food truck, fuelling footie fans at City Ground’s fanzone. The WMK unit at Sneinton Market has had rave reviews for the food and service. But more than that, it’s a friendly, welcoming spot with sessions for children with special needs and their families - something close to the heart of Paddy and his wife Amy since their 12-year-old daughter Willow has special needs.
