The event will start at 9.30am on Sunday, September 28, at the Victoria Embankment. Participants will run through the city centre, the Park Estate and around Wollaton Park before finishing at the Victoria Embankment.

A total of 37 road closures will be in place during the event, but also before and after.

The 13.1 mile race is expected to finish around 1.30pm.

The marathon also coincides with the first weekend of the annual Goose Fair at the Forest Recreation Ground, with the city centre expected to be heavily congested on the day.
