Renaissance returns to Stealth for special one-off party
Nottingham Post
|February 26, 2026
THE venue where it first started in Nottinghamshire has gone, but Renaissance is back for an all-dayer of biblical proportions.
The much-loved electronic dance music club was founded by Geoff Oakes at Venue 44 in Mansfield in March 1992. Colwick Hall, Media (now Ink) and residencies at the legendary Bomb and Stealth followed. Now, after a decade away, it will be resurrected on Easter Sunday, April 5, from 2pm to 10pm, in Nottingham.
The club nights attracted crowds from all over the country, with the heavyweights of the dance scene playing sets, before becoming an internationally-acclaimed phenomenon with events in Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Moscow, Dubai, and an annual summer slot at Ibiza's world-famous nightclub Pacha.
