Redundancies after HMRC demanded £1.8m from 'unlawful' scheme
Nottingham Post

A MAJOR Nottinghamshire employer fell into administration and made some staff redundant after losing vital contracts with the NHS and being hit by a huge claim from His Majesty's Revenue & Customs, it has been revealed.
F4Control Ltd, which traded from the Old Station off High Street in Edwinstowe, provided special educational needs transport and non-emergency NHS patient transport for two decades but entered administration in late November.
This resulted in some employees being made redundant, while others were transferred to Human Touch Ambulance Limited - which bought some of the insolvent firm's assets and equipment for £68,402.
Louise Williams and Luke Brough of Opus Restructuring LLP, joint administrators of F4Control Ltd, have now outlined the circumstances that led the company - which had been profitable until 2024/25 with a turnover in excess of £5 million a year - to ruin.
